19th Century Pair of Cut and Overlaid Glass Tazzas

Dating to the mid 19th century (circa 1850) a pair of fine, cut and frosted overlaid glass tazza with everted rims and a hexagonal baluster column terminating in a round star cut base. The overlay is a rich cranberry /light ruby colour , the glass is clear and bright, the frosting is even and undamaged, the cut is also sharp and uniform.

Each Tazza is: Height 6 1/2 inches diameter 8 1/2 inches
