Antique Cut to Clear Cobalt Blue Liqueur Decanter

Circa 1900, a cut to clear, cobalt blue liqueur decanter. This petit vessel has that extra attribute of the optical effect when you look through the main body of the bottle. We attribute this double lipped decanter to production coming out of Bohemia at this time. It is typically sized for liqueurs, the double lip being most commonly found around Czechoslovakia in the Bohemian region.

At 24cms overall height, it suggests original use for liqueurs.

Condition: the only issue to note is are slight nibbles to the underside of the stopper.
