18th Century Georgian Solid Silver Soup Ladle

18th Century Georgian Solid Silver Soup Ladle

£350

A superb example of a quality late 18th century, solid silver soup ladle. It has never been engraved and is a typical plain form of the period. Hallmarked and assayed (925 sterling) in London in 1797 by George Smith (II).

Overall length: 13 inches
Bowl Dimension width: 4 inches
depth: 1 1/2 inches

The condition of the ladle is excellent. Given the quality of the item, it warranted and has had a full refurbishment by our silversmith bringing back the original splendour of the piece without detracting from its age
